Teaching flower school at Sunday Suppers

The Little Flower School went on the road last month over to Sunday Suppers...It was a lovely ladies lunch - we taught a miniature flower lesson and then learned how to make a seasonal summer lunch with The Jewels of New York. If every Sunday could be so decadent!

These gorgeous photos courtesy of Karen Mordechai - wait till you see the final results of the table setting, the food, and the flower arrangements...

  2. From another former Bay Area flower girl,

Congrats on the gorgeous nytimes article! I'd add to the writer's description of your stunning work, "studied whimsey".

It's a term I found in a 1950's flower arranging pamphlet and I apply it as liberally as possible.

Nicolette, you continue to be such an inspiration-

(and Sarah, too! though I've not met you it seems you've paired up together to create flora perfection!)

    Cheers,
Alicia (previously in Oakland/SF and now in Portland, OR)
