The Little Flower School went on the road last month over to Sunday Suppers...It was a lovely ladies lunch - we taught a miniature flower lesson and then learned how to make a seasonal summer lunch with The Jewels of New York. If every Sunday could be so decadent!
These gorgeous photos courtesy of Karen Mordechai - wait till you see the final results of the table setting, the food, and the flower arrangements...
When I die, you guys are SO getting my Constance Spry book collection (which is rather respectable, I might add). RAWK ON!
ReplyDeleteFrom another former Bay Area flower girl,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the gorgeous nytimes article! I'd add to the writer's description of your stunning work, "studied whimsey".
It's a term I found in a 1950's flower arranging pamphlet and I apply it as liberally as possible.
Nicolette, you continue to be such an inspiration-
(and Sarah, too! though I've not met you it seems you've paired up together to create flora perfection!)
Cheers,
Alicia (previously in Oakland/SF and now in Portland, OR)
