TaDa: Quince Class Results

This was a really fun class! After searching endlessly for the perfect vase, Nicolette scored these beautiful urns. With two long-time school teachers in the class (one of whom was Sarah's mother) -- the pressure was on. We did a quick demo showing how to use chicken wire as a support structure in the vase, then let everyone go for it. The Japanese ranunculus were really the star of the show...

New spring classes, and a surprise last min. St. Valentines class announced on Friday.

Nicolette and I sit here obsessing over the vases to use for our next class - the Quince class...in the meantime we'll show you the fabulous results from our last class CITRUS...this was such a fun class, we had phenomenal material - poppies, kumquats, bush ivy, ranunculus, anemones, eucalyptus, lysimachia, agapanthus, mimosa, astrantia, garden roses, golden hinoki cypress and more.

Stay tuned, we're also working on a special Valentines Day class (!) and our early Spring '10 class schedule. Sharpen your pencils!

Hellebores in the Press!

She introduced hyacinths, muscari, fritillaria and the ranunculus to the rest of the world, and moreover, excites people as to how to grow and simply arrange these lesser known flowers themselves.

Do you know what a hellebore is? You can read more here.
It's one of our absolute favorites, I vibrate with anticipation -- they haven't arrived at market yet, but come February they will be in abundance and stunning....
